Arnge Design is a pillow workshop based in Newark. Designers Mike Dawson and Pete Mars have years of experience in multiple design fields including magazine art direction, interior design and furniture design. Mike, the primary designer and colorist, has been producing bright, colorful patterns since he was old enough to hold a crayon. Its one of his favorite colors that led to the company's unique name.
Arnge pillows are made in a sweatshop-free workspace using fabric printed in the USA. Arnge’s love of their home state is reflected in pillows that feature state maps, vintage postcards and personalized zip-codes.
Mike charming southern accent gives away his Tennessee upbringing and Pete comes to New Jersey by way of Connecticut. On their adopted home state, Pete says, “New Jersey has so much to offer. The shore, the Pine Barrens, the mountains of the Highlands, not to mention New Jersey’s incredible role in American history. It’s an amazing place to live, explore and learn.”
