We have been working with Tracee Palmer of Secret Garden Soap since our first school fundraiser in 2013. Our vendors are numbered sequentially, making Tracee vendor #1 (#001, to be exact!). Well known to attendees of local farmers markets and craft shows, Secret Garden Soap has a strong local fan base. Her natural, creamy, long-lasting soaps and rich lotions are a customer favorite and are available in a range of seasonal scents.
Most all of her products are made with goats’ milk, sourced from her very own small backyard herd of LaMancha goats. We had the pleasure of visiting her little suburban farm this spring to meet the latest bunch of kids to join the herd. They were as affectionate and playful as puppies and didn’t hesitate to sit in the lap or climb the shoulders of anyone who would let them.
In addition to the goat milk, all of Secret Garden Soaps are made with the finest oils available, some with local honey and herbs and other kitchen ingredients. Tracee was inspired to start her business through her belief that life is full of simple pleasures. We should all take the time for self-care and Secret Garden Soap’s products are just the thing to enjoy everyday.
